Karmingimpel - Rhubarb Pale Ale 0.44 Liter (incl. VAT & deposit)

The Karmingimpel (common rosefinch) is a small finch, the male wears carmine red plumage. Brewed with our friends from Liquid Story in Braunschweig, at Yankee & Kraut.

The Style

A Fruited Pale Ale combines a hop-forward pale ale with real fruit, here rhubarb, fermented right along with the beer. The art is the balance between hop bitterness and fruit acidity, so the beer stays lean and lively and does not turn sweet.

In the Glass

Straw yellow, slightly hazy, white head. Citrus, rhubarb and tropical fruit. Lean body, fine acidity, dry finish.

Serving

At 5 to 8 °C in a tulip glass. With goat cheese.
