What is a non-alcoholic IPA?

Non-alcoholic IPAs are arguably one of the greatest craft challenges in the beer world. Without alcohol as a flavor carrier, the beer must still possess depth, body, and hop aroma, and must by no means taste like malt soda. Vogelfrei won a silver medal at the 2025 World Beer Awards in London for both taste and design.

Aromas & Character

Bright golden yellow with slight haze, white foam. The nose is fresh, hop-forward, with citrus grass and a hint of grapefruit. On the palate, the beer surprises with a full-bodied character, much more than one would expect from a non-alcoholic beer. The bitterness is clear and balanced, the finish dry and refreshing. No shortcuts. No compromises.
